Synopsis
A laborer in Southern Italy raises his son after the sudden death of the kid’s mother. He promised his son that his mother will come back to life, and now he must find a way to keep this promise.

Born in Torino, in 1978, the twins have worked together since 1999. Their first feature film Seven Works of Mercy (2011) was presented at Locarno Film Festival, where it won the Youth Jury Prize and the Don Quixote Prize. The film went on to participate in 80 festivals, wining 27 awards. In 2015 the brothers directed River Memories, a documentary that had its world premiere at the 2015 Venice International Film Festival, and the international competition of the 2016 Visions du Reel Festival. The film went on to screen at over 25 festivals.
