Synopsis
The vast, growing city remains unexplored. Li works by night and sleeps by day; his roommate’s rhythmis the opposite. In an underground housing, the two men share the same bed, but never at the sametime. Their brief encounters and the room they share form a temporary shelter, a home they will soonhave to leave

Ivan Marković is a filmmaker born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He graduated in cinematography from the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade in 2012 and received a master’s degree I n film from the University of Arts Berlin in 2019. He received the Erste Foundation Award for Best visual artist in 2014 and took part at Berlinale talents in 2015. Recently, he worked as a cinematographer on several feature films including All the cities of the north(2016) by Dane Komljen, You have the night (2018) by Ivan Salatic and I was at home, but... by Angela Schanelec, which won the SilverBear at Berlinale 2019. The short film White Bird (2016), that he co-directed with Linfeng Wu, had its premiere on Berlinale 2016. His experimental documentary Centar (2018) had its premiere on Doclisboa in 2018 and received The best newcomer award at Dokufest. From tomorrow on, I will, a feature he co-directed with Linfeng Wu, had its premiere on Berlinale Forum 2019 and received the Grand prize at 2019 Jeonju International Film Festival and the First Steps award from the German Film Academy. Lives and works between Belgrade and Berlin.
Linfeng Wu was born on August 8th 1989, Hunan, China. Studied in the US for high school. Graduated in Film Directing, Lasalle College of the Art, Singapore (2009-2013). His short films were shown in several international festivals. In 2013, he moved to Beijing, and started his film production company. In 2016, the short film White Bird (2016) he co-directed with Ivan Marković, had the premiere at Berlinale Shorts.
