Lumpen is a story about a factory worker of a once great industry which is now in ruins. He finds a dead dog, and the film tells how an essentially humane idea can turn into something bizarre and tragic.

Nikola Vučinić was born in 1991 in Nikšić. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Currently, he is a second year student of Film and TV directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje. Vučinić is the author of two short fiction films, Lumpen and Thirst, screened at 11 festivals and winning two awards.
