Vitomir Bezjak is a composer and a bohemian of the Zagreb social scene. He is preparing for the premiere of his magnum opus, a long awaited piece In Honor of the Sun. The event that was supposed to be the highlight of his career encounters unexpected problems when Vitomir gets accused of plagiarism.

Rajko Grlić was born in 1947 in Zagreb, and graduated in 1971 in film directing at FAMU in Prague. At the start of his career, he directed television films and co-wrote the script for Social Game with director Srđan Karanović. They later cooperated on the script for the series The Unpicked Strawberries. Bravo Maestro (1974), his second feature film, was screened in the main program at the Cannes Film Festival. You Love Only Once (1981) is an opulent melodrama intertwined with erotic and class tensions, and it was screened within Un Certain Regard at Cannes. Grlić continued developing his auteur approach to genre in the films In the Jaws of Life (1984) and Three for Happiness (1985), co-written with Dubravka Ugrešić. His latest feature film The Constitution (2016) was awarded best film in Montreal.
