The first guests to arrive at this year’s Küstendorf are film producers Flaminio Zadra and Matías Mosteirín. Professor Emir Kusturica gave them a warm traditional welcome and they were offered bread, salt and rakija.
Flaminio Zadra is a member of the jury at the Festival. He also produced Blanka, a film by the Japanese director Koki Hasei, to be screened as part of the Contemporary Trends. Within the same programme, on the second day of the festival, Matías Mosteirín is to present the film The Clan by Argentinian director Pablo Trapero and hold a workshop after the screening.
