Competition Programme Selection

We’re happy to announce that 10th Küstendorf International Film and Music Festival Competition Programme will include twenty two short films made by Serbian and international filmmakers. Movies of young authors from Bulgaria, Chile, Denmark, Hong Kong, Hungary, Israel, Iran, Lebanon, Moldova, Montenegro, Nepal, Philippines, Portugal, Republic of Srpska, Russia, Singapore, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine will compete for Gold, Silver, and Bronze eggs, as well as “Vilko Filač“ award for the best cinematography.

After seeing nearly 500 short films, Selectors of the Competition Programme, Maja Kusturica, Svetolik Mića Zajc and Marko Milosavljević have decided that the main programme of the 2017 Küstendorf will include the following:

  2. After – Hanna Jalali, Ukraine
  3. And the whole sky fit in the dead cow’s eye – Francisca Allegria, Chile/USA
  4. Ascension – Pedro Peralta, Portugal
  5. Before I Sleep – Nikolay Todorov, Bulgaria
  6. Co-drivers – Ognjen Isailović, Serbia
  7. Dadyaa – Pooja Gurung and Bibhusan Basnet, Nepal
  8. Daughter of the Bride – Tamar Rudoy, Israel
  9. En La Boca – Matteo Gariglio, Switzerland/Argentina
  10. Freeze – Nelicia Low, Singapore/Taiwan
  11. Frontier, Bloody Frontier – Saša Karanović, Bosnia and Hercegovina/Republic of Srpska
  12. Love – Réka Bucsi, Hungary
  13. Lulu IRL – Tone Ottilie, Denmark
  14. Maleš – Ivan Bakrač, Serbia/Montenegro
  15. Nobody Here – Jelena Gavrilović, Serbia
  16. Paparuda – Lucia Lupu, Moldova
  17. Sandra – Carlo Francisco Manatad, Philippines

The festival will take place between Saturday 14 January and Thursday 19 January 2017.
