Marina is an outstanding synchronized jump swimmer. But suddenly, she suffers from a bout of tinnitus – a terrible ringing in her ears – which gets in the way of her goal of being an Olympic medalist. She ends up leaving the sport and becomes an employee of an aquarium where, dressed as a mermaid, she performs in shows. Despite the unbearable noise that will not leave her calm and a body that becomes her biggest obstacle, Marina is not discouraged: she thinks about returning to competitions and, finally, fulfilling her Olympic dream.
