In the North, winter is approaching. A Bear thinks about her friend Bird, who has migrated to the South. Instead of hibernating like every year, she decides to cross the world to reunite with him. This long journey through unsettling or wondrous landscapes will give the Bear the chance to test the strength of her love, and develop a newfound taste for the unknown.

About Director
Marie Caudry
Living in the Drôme for about fifteen years, Marie Caudry has illustrated numerous children’s books for both French and foreign publishers, most of which were written by her long-time collaborator, Gauthier David. She enjoys embedding clues in her intricate drawings, allowing young readers to explore multiple hypotheses and engage in a constantly renewed reading experience, driven by a graphic and colorful approach whose strangeness never diminishes its tenderness. It is in this spirit that she created her first animated film, The Bear and the Bird, produced by Miyu in 2023.
