Synopsis
During the 1990’s in ex-Yugoslavia a war rages. A husband and wife try to escape their besieged town but there’s an improvised barricade blocking the road. In an attempt to get past it, they make up a story to tell the guards, but it quickly crumbles. As they were about to get shot by the soldiers, the man turns and says the word ’Lemon’, which just may be their way to freedom.

Ognjen Petković was born in Vukovar in 1986. He graduated in acting at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia in 2008. In 2015 he began his PhD studies in Audiovisual Arts at the Novi Sad Academy. He made several short fiction, experimental and documentary films, such as Autumn Waltz (2018), Hide and seek (2018), Crocodile (in post-production), Three points (2011), Love (2017), Hands (2016), Qatar (2014). His short film Love competed at numerous international festivals winning three awards, two for best film and one for best screenplay. His films were screened at international festivals such as Film court de Brest, GoDebut, Villeurbanne, CinemaCity, Manhattan International Film Festival, Regensburg, West Tokio film festival, etc. At the moment, he is working on his feature documentary Sounds of Silence.
