Nikolay Todorov was born in 1979 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Theatre and Film Academy Krastyo Sarafov in Sofia with a degree in Film directing in the class of professor Georgi Dulgerov. His graduation film The Minutes After has won several international awards and numerous selections at international festivals. Among them are the Jameson Award for best short film at the Sofia Film Fest and an Award at the Festival in Cork, Ireland. His film Three days in Sarajevo was nominated for best short film of the Bulgarian Film Academy. Currently, he is working on his debut feature film.
