Synopsis
The film applies an unconventional narrative. It presents a subjective world through 47 scenes. Small events, interlaced by associations, express the irrational coherence of our surroundings. The surreal situations are based on the interactions of humans and nature.
Director's Biography
Réka Bucsi
Réka Bucsi is a Hungarian independent animation filmmaker and illustrator, born in Germany’s Filderstadt in 1988. During 2008-2013, she attended the animation department of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. Her graduation film Symphony No. 42 premiered at the 64th Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin, Berlinale Shorts Competition. In 2011-2012, she attended Essemble, the Digital Filmmaking Training Programme.
In 2013-2014, Bucsi attended Animation Sans Frontiéres (ASF), the European Animation Production Workshop. She currently works on her new short film at the Residency Program of Open Workshop in Viborg, Denmark.
