Synopsis
This short documentary is a portrait of the collective identity of the inhabitants of a Slovak bordering town, Čierna nad Tisou. The town once dubbed the Golden Gate of Socialism is now a run-down image of Slovakia’s eastern periphery. Today in seemingly stationary environments of a former rail transit station, its inhabitants are looking for a new gateway to the world and their place under the Sun.
