Synopsis

Ran returns to the kibbutz to visit his father, who has suffered a sudden heart attack. There’s been no contact between the two since Ran returned to his roots. Driving a rickety Hasidic van – which breaks down along the way - Ran is anxious about the impending encounter with his father and the options for reconciliation.

Director Biography
Yaniv Linton

Yaniv Linton was born in 1982 in Kibbutz Kfar Haruv. Prior to his studies at the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem, he studied and worked in photography and multi-media, utilizing stills, music and transparencies. He began his studies at school in 2006, where he met and married his classmate Margarita Balkalav.  His 3rd year film Shadow of the Road has been screened at several festivals around the world. Tateh is his Graduation film.
