KUSTENDORF IS A FOUND PARADISE
Details
The closing ceremony of the 3rd International film and music festival started off with the performance of the folklore ensemble „Svetozar Markovic“ from the student cultural centre of Kragujevac. Their songs, music, and notably their dance heated the already scorching atmosphere and the impatience of the audience, eager to find out who were the award winners of Kustendorf 2010.

BE CREATIVE GANGSTERS
Details On the last day of festival, Jim Jarmusch’s latest film The Limits of Control was shown as part of the Contemporary Trends programme. After the screening of the film, jury member, author, producer and longtime associate and partner of Jarmusch Sara Driver, held a workshop for the students of film academies.

IN TODAY'S WORLD, SUCCESSFUL FILMS ARE DEPERSONALIZED
Details
The musical If A Thousand Clarinets, a Czechoslovakian film made by Ján Roháč and Vladimír Svitáček in 1965, was shown on the sixth day of Kustendorf 2010 as part of the Evergreen programme.
After the screening, famous Serbian director and founder of the festival Emir Kusturica, a former Prague's film directing student, held his long-awaited workshop. He spoke about Eastern European film, the reasons for initiating this festival and the notable difference between author and commercial films.

A VERY PERSONAL STORY
Details
The president of the jury of the 3rd International film and music festival Kustendorf, comic and film author Marjan Satrapi gave a workshop for students and participants of the Competition programme after the screening of her animated feature Persepolis, which in 2007 won the jury award at the Cannes Film Festival.

Details
The fourth feature About Elly was presented by the Iranian director Asghar Farhadi who won the Silver Bear for Best Director at the 59th Berlin film festival, which was shown in many festivals worldwide. The film revises complicated interpersonal relationships, questioning elements such as morality, guilt, and trust throughout a simple story about a group of old friends who go on a short vacation together, which is shortly after interrupted when a young woman goes missing.
