    Anica Dobra - PRESIDENT OF THE JURY  
 
Details Anica Dobra was born in Belgrade in 1963. Between 1977 and 1981 she lived in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). After coming back in Belgrade, she graduated from the Acting Department at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 1987. Her acting debut was in 1985 film Pera Panker. In 1987, she won the Golden Arena award at the Film Festival in Pula for the role in film Déjà vu. Besides extraordinary acting career in Serbia, Anica have been working in Germany for 17 years, where she had remarkable roles on more than 40 films. She became famous there in 1990, after the role of Rosamunde in the film with the same name, fow which she won the Bavarian Film Award for the best young actress. After the long break, Anica returned to Serbian cinematography in film Natasha (by Ljubisa Samardzic). Although she nowadays works mostly in Germany, Serbian audience could see her in films The Trap and Love and Other Crimes.

    Gian Luca Farinelli  
 
Details Gian Luca Farinelli was born in 1963 in Bologna, and graduated with honors from the University of Urbino with a degree thesis on film restoration. He started collaboration with the Cineteca del Comune di Bologna in 1984. In 1986 Farinelli and Nicola Mazzanti created Il Cinema Ritrovato, an event dedicated to film history and film archive activities, which today is considered one of the sector’s most prestigious festivals. He has been a member of the Commissione Consultiva per le attività cinematografiche del Comune di Bologna since 1988 and director of the Cineteca di Bologna since 2000. Working for the Cineteca he oversaw the creation of the first Italian film restoration school L’Immagine Ritrovata, funded by the EU, and the inception of the restoration lab by the same name.

    Karl Baumgartner  
 
Details Karl Baumgartner - producer and distributor. From 1967 to 1970 he worked in Rome as an assistant director and film critic. In 1971 he moved to Frankfurt where, together with Reinhard Brundig, he established one of the most important German cinemas, known as Harmonie. In 1981, he and Brundig founded the company Pandora Film, which became a leading European distributor of major international art house films. In 2003 he and Thanassis Karathanos established the production company Pallas Film, based in Halle.
